Today we are gonna be talking about the screen time children screen time is the total time spent per day in weaving screens such as TV's, mobile phones, computers, tablet or any handheld and visual devices.

Now a days teachers parents and health professions are concerned about existing users screen time in children 

the weaving use screen determines whether it is healthy or unhealthy, using screen for education purposes or pro social activities such as a school work or interacting with relatives friends or creating an art or music is tuned as healthy and positive screen. while watching inappropriate TV shows visiting unsafe websites playing violent video games a few examples of negative or unhealthy screen time.

So what should be the ideal screen time for children, so children less than 2yr older old should not exposed to any screen except for occasional video call with relatives for children between 2 to 5 years of age the screen time should be limited to 1Hr per day. For older children & adults there should be a balance between screen time and other activities which are required for overall development.

so these activities are adequate physical activities of at least 1Hr, so sleep at least 8 to 9 Hr. and the time spent for hobbies, school time, meals, family time, if any of these activities of displaced with the use of screen then determinant is a excessive screen time and it should be reduced

So what are the hill effects of screen time so it can be physical hill effects, like obesity sedentary lifestyle, sleep disturbance, eye pain, neck pain, back pain it can also lead to mental hill effects like delayed speech, aggression, hyperactivity, violence, anxiety, depression, addiction to pornography, media addiction, it can also lead to decreased academic performance.

So, it is important just like the food we eat, the screen needs to be chosen in proper manner in right quantity at a right time.
